This is Mr. Atherly's thirty first year at Highland Park High School. He has taught Plastics, Leatherwork, Drafting, Home Maintenance and Repair, Consumer Education of the automobile, Cabinetmaking and Automotive Technology. Mr. Atherly was born in Burlington and moved several times until arriving in Topeka in 1968. He graduated from Topeka High School in 1973. Mr. Atherly attended Washburn University before graduating from Emporia State University in 1977 with a degree in Secondary Education. Mr. Atherly enjoys spending time in his home workshop working on various activities. |
