It's a proven fact that students do better academically and enjoy school more if they are involved in school activities.  Students at HPHS are encouraged to participate in as many activities as possible. Sports and many of the activiites meet before or after school. Clubs are allowed meeting time during Friday Scot Time so that all students can participate.

Sports: football, cross country, volleyball, tennis, basketball, wrestling, track, soccer, baseball, softball, and golf.

Activities: debate, forensics, math relays, musical theater, drama, Scot Singers, band, Scholar's Bowl, ROTC drill team, cheerleading, Model U.N., strings, and color guard.

Clubs:Hispanic Club, French Club, German Club, GBSA, SADD, African American Culture Club, Groovin' Club, Gaming Club, Drawing Club, Daddy's Girls and more!
